Technology is fast creeping into the world of "Wellness/Preventive Medicine" and since I am an ardent lover of vehicles, I have decide to start a weekly "AUTOMOBILE HEALTH FEATURE REVIEW".The articles will be short and mainly pictorial but let's see how far we can go with the various brands in this fierce world of competition. Today, I present the
"ATTENTION ASSIST" feature of the all new 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The newer G-Series also have this lifesaving feature from what I learnt, taking a spin in a GL500 a few weeks ago. The feel was legendary but most of all the safety assist was mind-blowing.

Did you know that,with this feature,
these cars are able to sense typical signs of drowsiness,sleep onset and moderate to severe inattention, giving the driver audible and visible warnings to "take a break"? The car eventually rolls to an automatic stop,if action is not taken after a few minutes. This way,the risk of trauma secondary to road traffic accident is minimised to the barest minimum. Isn't that amazing?

You may not be able to purchase one for yourself now but whilst we dream and aspire,people in various cities across the world are already having a swell time with this and many more features that come with this piece of automobile machinery. Let's keep hope alive, never can tell. If cars are your thing,then visit again next week for another brand and another health feature.
