World Immunization Week 2017 will be observed from April 24th to 30th and this year the theme is "VACCINES WORK". I am praying that Nigerian Organisations,both Governmental and Non-Governmental, devote resources en masse to ensure that the information is driven home and vital action is taken to ensure that every child/individual is adequately immunised for age. Otherwise how do we explain the fact that the giant of Africa is one of only 3 remaining countries in the world to harbour the Polio virus? Why is Nigeria the second country with the most un-immunised children in the world,after India? Why is Nigeria always unprepared? Anyways enough of the lamenting.
