Today "July 28th" is World Hepatitis Day 2017 and from all indications this year,the general consensus amongst stakeholders all over the world is to work towards a central goal, to "ELIMINATE HEPATITIS"-an inflammatory(body's reaction to injury) condition of the liver mostly caused by the Hepatitis Viruses.

We would explore simple measures that can be taken to "ELIMINATE HEPATITIS" in a follow up and more explanatory article, especially as has been summarised in the World Health Organisation's (WHO) first "Global Health Sector Strategy On Viral Hepatitis 2016-2021"but for now,we must first appreciate the magnitude of the problem,so as to better understand how important eliminating Hepatitis amongst other disease conditions,is to the world.
