Jennifer Lopez: The Thin Line Between Style, Femininity & Fashion Related Mental Extremism

Jennifer Lopez, the American singer and actress popularly known as Jlo, broke the internet yesterday after the image you see below was posted on her Instagram page. Whilst many of her teeming fans have rained praises on her for not only being a style icon but a strong woman not afraid to own her firm body, others are beginning to wonder how thin the line is between: style, femininity and fashion related mental extremism.

The 49 year old super star is not a stranger to appearing semi-nude in pictures but this time, she certainly raised the bar and all I can think of is, what does it take mentally to make such an audacious fashion or feminine statement? As the years go by, people are beginning to take more responsibility for what they believe in and  in some cases decide to go the extreme length to express their true selves, as some entertainment analysts put it. What do you think about such a trend, if it were to be the next big phase, style wise? Jlo seems to be having a blast and from her "InStyle Interview" as well as one of her images posted a couple of days back, you can deduce that, she has a mind of her own and would rather life was less complicated. Do what you must without giving a hoot, who cares....
